Younger child Enos still a baby. 1891, Aged 37 living at Victoria Street, Silverdale with husband Caleb, 35 a blast furnace man and sons Albert 12 and Enos 10, scholars. Albert was born in Silverdale and Enos in Shelton. 1901 Living at 54 Alfred Street, Hanley with husband Caleb, 45 a brickyard foreman and sons Enos, 20 a brick runner(?) and Frank, 9. Her sisters Sarah Jane and Mary Ann live nearby with Sarah’s husband, Benjamin Mould, at 62 Alfred Street. 1911 Living at 3 Birks Street, Cobridge, aged 57 with husband Caleb aged 56. Enos 30 and Frank 19 are still with them. Emily and Caleb have been married for 34 yours and had three children, two of whom are still alive (Albert has died). Caleb is now a labourer in the iron works. Enos is a miner, cutter below ground and Frank is a labourer in the brick works. |
