Shared note

1851 Mary Purslow, 60, widowed, born Ireland is a logding house keeper at Kirkstall Road, Headingly with Burley, Yorkshire. With her are Mary Ann Purslow, 29 born Shrewsbury, Shropshire and Caroline Purslow 23, born Shrewsbury; both daughters unmarried. Visitors Harriet Armstrong 17, Mary Ann Jones 21 both unmarried and Sarah Wynn 22 married with Jane Wynn 1. All visitors from Shrewsbury, Shropshire. (HO107/2315/371 p43)

The death of a Mary Purslow born about 1786 was recorded Shrewsbury 1867 Q4 6a 445 aged about 81. This is a few years older than expected but maybe a match; however Mary may have remained in Yorkshire.

Other possible death registrations:
Mary Puslow, aged 79, Q3 1871 in Ludlow 6a 345.
Mary Purslow,  aged 88, Q2 1873 Wem 6a 487

Thomas Purslow married a Mary Rice or Price in Kidderminster, Worcestershire on 8th April 1810. NO image or record provided. No further details found.
There are a number of baptism records for Mary Rice in Dublin and several from other areas in the 1789-90 time frame but I don’t have enough to narrow them down.
