A James Knot was chrsitened in Ipstones on 25th October 1748, parents Joseph and Anne Knot. IGI C096841
Possible siblings are Samuel 21 June 1751, Elizabeth 5 May 1754, Anne 1st March 1757. There is also an Ann Knot, parents of the same names but not christened until 24 April 1780 which would make the parents rather old.
