Shared note
|
A Louisa Turner, aged 20, father Samuel Turner married George Shufflebotham aged 21, father James Shufflebotham, on 25th November 1872 at Bucknall, Staffordshire. (Except a birth in Q4 of 1855 would mean Louisa about 17 at the date of this marriage, not 20) In 1901 a John Shufflebotham aged 27 was boarding with Jane Barnes, nee Turner, younger sister of Louisa. Is this a co-incidence or is he her nephew? A Louisa Turner daughter of Samuel Turner married a Jospeh Pepper, son of WIlliam Pepper on 2 April 1876 (she would have been 20) in Burslem. Unfortunately only limited transcription of the parish record is available. |
