Shared note
|
The only record of a marriage between William Turner and an Elizabeth I have found to date, in the parish of Wolstanton (which includes Newchapel) is that on 17th July 1857 recorded in register of St Margaret's Church Wolstanton. The bride was Elizabeth Bullock and both bride and groom has never previously been married and both were of the parish. The witnesses were Thomas Mountford and Jos (?) Mills. If these are the parents of Mary Turner, wife of Thomas Mainwaring, then they married at around the time of her birth (she was baptised on 7th August 1757). |
