Alfred Rogers of 9 Rectory Rd Shelton, father organ builder (master) was admitted to Hanley Municipal Secondary School - boys (exempt from fees) on 8 September 1908. He had attended primary school at the National School in Shelton. He attended until end of Summer term 1911.
1939 Alfred (dob 30 Jan 1896) an elementary school handicraft teacher was living at 37 Capstone Avenue, Wolverhampton, Wolverhampton C.B., Staffordshire with his wife Mabel A (dob 25 November 1897), engaged in unpaid domestic duties, and their three children. The notes also indicate that Alfred was a special constable.
1975 Alfred died on 9 October 1975. At the time of his death he lived at Bishopwood, Wydales Cres., Bakewell, Derbyshire. His will was proved in Sheffield on 14 January 1976 with his estate valued at £18,917
