Possibly Lees. Name confirmed by decendent of Henry Davies.

James’s second wife was definitely named Elizabeth. There is a record for the marriage of James Davies (widower) and Elizabeth Lees on 30th March 1807.

From memo of Hannah Parr (nee Davies, daughter of James and his first wife Sarah), Elizabeth died on 23 August 1844 and was burried in Hanley Church. She noted James remarried in 1806 but this appears to be mistaken. Burial record for 26th August 1844 for Elizabeth, aged 68.

1841 An Elizabeth Davies, widow, aged 55-59 is living in Mill Street next door to Hannah Parr, nee Davies, daughter of James and Sarah Davies. Is this Elizabeth James’s second wife and step mother to Hannah?
