Marriage registrations show that a Henry Turner married a Sarah Kirkham or Elizabeth Salt in Stoke-on-Trent in Q4 1873 6b/468 and that a Henry Turner married a Sarah Fallows or Louisa Hanley in Wolstanton in Q4 1876 6b/191.

The birth registration of their daighter Mary shows that her mother's maiden name was Kirkham
