1841 aged "30" living with wife Mary, also "30" and two children, James 10 and Elizabeth 5 at Stoke Lane, Penkhull, occupation Brick Maker. What has happened to William who would have been about 8, has he died? HO 107/991/10. Mary would have been about 33. 1851 William may be married again and living with wife Sarah (possible a widow as there is another daughter named Shaw in the household) - Widower William Freakley, tile manufacturer from Stoke on Trent married widow Sarah Shaw (nee Evans) in Stone on 8 August 1850. His father James Freakley was a farmer. The family was living in Etrurai. Elizabeth, daughter weith his first wife Mary Marsh is now 15. Their son James who would be about 20 is not present. |
