According to the family she Married a groom and driver for Groves and Whitnalls - brewers.

She appears with the family only in the 1851 census (Class: HO107; Piece: 2232; Folio: 441; Page: 24;) aged 2.

1861 An Emma Knowles, aged 12 born Cheetham, Lancs, is still in Cheetham but living in the household of Henry Colling a 33 year old carrier from Salford and his wife Ruth, 33, as a servant. Her occupation is given as nurse. There are two childre n George C 2 and Mary E 1 and so Emma is probably caring for them. RG9; Piece: 2969; Folio: 75; Page: 36

Emma Knowles, 22 possibly married William Wagstaff, 21, son of Thomas Wagstaff at Chorley, Cheshire on 25th September 1870. (Emma’s father identified as Peter Knowles) (Extracted from Parish records).

1871 Emma Wagstaff 22 from Cheetham, and her husband William Wagstaff 22, a coachman (domestic) from Luton, Bedfordshire are living at Oak House, Barlow Moor, Didsbury. RG10; Piece: 3973; Folio: 50; Page: 12; This isn’t quite a driver for a brewery but it is the same type of employment.
